Modernize your website or web application while protecting the search visibility you have earned.
Rebuilding on a modern platform should make your site faster, easier to run and easier to grow. It should not cost you the pages, rankings and links that took years to build. AbharWorks plans and builds the move so both happen.

A rebuild is where search traffic is usually lost.
Most sites that need modernizing still earn their keep. They rank, they are linked to, customers find them. The platform underneath is the problem: an outdated CMS version, a front end search engines cannot read properly, a design the organisation has outgrown, a structure nobody wants to touch.
The risk is in the move. URLs change and old links break. Pages that ranked are merged or dropped. A new front end renders in a way crawlers cannot index. Redirects are left for launch day. Traffic falls, and by the time anyone notices, the old site is gone.
This is for you if
- your site or web application runs on an old CMS version or an ageing codebase, and upgrades have become risky;
- your content is not being indexed properly because of how the platform renders pages;
- you have an approved brand or design system your current site cannot carry;
- you have years of indexed pages and inbound links you cannot afford to break;
- you need the site in more than one language, including Arabic with right-to-left layouts done properly.
It is not for you if you only need to move the same site to a different hosting company. That is a hosting transfer, and your host can do it.
One piece of work: the rebuild and the search continuity together.
SEO agencies will advise on a migration that someone else builds. Developers will rebuild a site and leave search to someone else. Problems appear in the gap between the two. AbharWorks does both as a single job:
- 1
Map what you have. Every indexed URL, its traffic and inbound links, content types, templates, integrations and structured data.
- 2
Decide what moves and how. Which pages keep their address, which are redirected and to where, which are retired, and what the new structure looks like.
- 3
Rebuild on a platform that fits the problem. A current CMS, a server-rendered web framework, or both. The choice follows from what the site has to do, not the other way round.
- 4
Launch with the redirects, sitemaps and metadata in place, tested before the switch, not after.
- 5
Measure before and after. Indexed pages, crawl errors and search performance are compared against the baseline, and what needs fixing is fixed.
The Modernization Assessment
Before anyone commits to a rebuild, a fixed-scope assessment of one site or web application answers three questions: what is worth keeping, what the move will put at risk, and what the sensible path is.
What you receive
- Current-state summary: platform, architecture, content structure and integrations.
- Search inventory: indexed URLs, the pages that carry your traffic and links, and how well the current platform is being crawled and rendered.
- Risk register: what could be lost in a move, and how likely.
- URL and redirect plan at outline level.
- Recommended approach, with the options considered and why.
- Phased roadmap with dependencies and the measurements to track.
The assessment is yours to keep and use, whether or not AbharWorks does the rebuild. If you do go on to a rebuild with us, the assessment fee is credited against it.
What it does not include: the rebuild itself, hosting, licences, ongoing SEO campaigns, or a promise of specific rankings.
What we commit to, and what nobody can
No one controls search engines, and anyone who guarantees rankings is guessing. What we commit to is the work that protects them: every indexed URL accounted for, redirects tested before launch, content and structured data carried over, pages rendered so crawlers can read them, and performance measured against a baseline taken before the move.
Scoped before it is promised
Every engagement starts with a fixed scope. The assessment has a defined set of deliverables. A rebuild is planned, sized and resourced from the assessment before anything is agreed, so you know what you are committing to and what you will get.

Read the sample assessmentCommon questions
- Is this a redesign or a rebuild?
- It can be either or both. What matters is that the platform changes underneath, which is when search visibility is at risk.
- Will our URLs change?
- Only where there is a reason. Addresses that carry traffic or links are kept where possible and redirected where not.
- Which platforms do you work with?
- The platform is chosen for the problem. Recent work has used a current open-source CMS and a server-rendered JavaScript framework.
- Do you work in Arabic and other languages?
- Yes. Multilingual sites, including Arabic with right-to-left layouts, are a regular part of the work.
- How long does an assessment take, and what does it cost?
- That depends on the size of the site. Both are confirmed on the fit call, before any commitment.
- Do you do the rebuild as well?
- Yes, as a separate engagement scoped after the assessment.
